The Netherlands Society for Jewish Genealogy (NKvJG) unites genealogists and other enthousiasts studying the genealogies and histories of Jewish families in The Netherlands – ashkenasic and sephardic. The society is open to anyone wishing to pool their enthousiasm, expertise, skills and resources with fellow members.
Publication
We publish the quarterly Misjpoge (Mishpokhe; Mishpakhá) journal, led by a fiercely independent editorial board. And we organise lectures in Amsterdam and in other parts of the country – the ‘Mediene’. The association was founded in August 1987.
International memberships
Your membership will begin upon payment of dues.
Memberships outside the Netherlands are €43 per annum and also include a subscription to our quarterly journal.
We offer three possibilities to pay:
- Membership dues can be paid using PayPal.
- To register for membership with automatic debit, which is easiest for all, please send an email to penningmeester@nljewgen.org. Include full name and address, and your bank account data.
- You will transfer €43.00 yourself to account NL90 INGB 0004 5087 06 in the name of Nederlandse Kring Joodse Genealogie (ING Bank NV, P.O. Box 1800, 1000 NV, Amsterdam).
